There is a debate that has never concluded.
It’s the eternal debate of quality vs. quantity. At its core, it’s a decision of preference; which is why it will continue to be discussed until the end of time. But it is always something to consider with your own business. So often in business, we feel the push and drive of performance. It is the way that our economy is driven, by sales and numbers. When you can quantify your performance, it’s straightforward to show your management, your stockholders and other decision-makers that you are bringing in business and money into the company. Some people consider showing this quantifiable amount and can assign success or failure.
However, quality can have a great appeal to a particular audience.
There are groupings of people that are willing to invest a larger amount of money so that they have the peace of mind knowing that they are getting a piece that is made with better materials. They want a piece constructed by experts taking their time to put care into the details and to have a piece that will stand the test of time. Some of the reasoning behind this is that they may invest more money initially, but they know that this piece will last them a significantly longer period, so they will not need to replace it.
For us, we realize that both quality and quantity have value but that it depends on who your clients are.
With the communication model, you always want to know who your audience is. Once you know who they are, you know what they value. If you are looking to attract high-end clients, you need to show that they appreciate quality as well. You can do this with higher quality paper products or gifts. If you are looking to appeal to a vast amount of people, you may not be able to afford these higher-end items. In that case, you may be seeking to invest in pieces that may be more affordable but still very useful. Whatever you are looking for, we love to partner with companies to help them achieve their goals. If you need a mass amount of t-shirts or business cards, we can help you. If you need high-quality brochures that are embossed or thick glossy fliers, we can do that. We hope that if you are looking for either quality or quantity, you will let us help you.
